You'll meet Johnny in the Artiela Ground House Pod Station Lot. He's the President of the TV Tower, and he will write you an introductory note that lets you inside of the TV Tower, if you haven't gotten one already from your friend Mira in Tokione.

Besides that, he's the one who will be teaching you how to master the Ukulele. Talk to him, pass a day by sleeping or story progression, talk to him again, then talk/sleep/talk again (maybe twice) and eventually he will know you're serious about learning to play. He'll give you a Ukulele and the first license. You'll get a payment from the audience once each day. Just keep playing, passing days, and playing.

In your starting audience, there will be a dog that looks exactly like Chappy. By the time you get to Artiela, you should already have Chappy at your place in Lifeborn. If you bring Chappy with you to see this dog, he won't get out of the cage in this area.

The 'Day' values below are after you start playing. You have to pass a day between every performance you make. This can be done by going back and forth to your bed in the Ground House (shortest path is to the right), or you can stretch these days over the rest of the game. Either way is fine. I've tested up to 400 game days and there are no issues with bumping up the days so far.

Note: If you are going to day-bump, it would be a good idea to check the TV every day. There are five* shows inside Ground House, and 2 in the Ukulele area. *'Peace-man' airs after 10 episodes of 'Life of Mr A'.

Day 04
A cat will show up in your audience, to the left of the dog. *goro-goro*

Day 10
A guy in a yellow coat shows up. He repeats the same words until day 20.

Day 20
Johnny won't let you play at first. He'll ask you to go to Artiela Museum to find a new audience member. You'll find him by going through the entrance behind the yellow desk on your left. It's your friend Ine. After talking with Ine, return to the Ukulele area and talk with Johnny to play.

Day 21
Guy in yellow shirt is replaced with a lady in a pink outfit, the non-dancer (from Dance, Dance Future DX) shows up standing behind the cat, and Ine will still be there. Talk to Ine and your friendship will increase by one point. (It should now be at 2.) Talk to Johnny and he will award you with the Performer license. You'll get a stat boost of Focus +5, Fame +2, Art +4, and the audience will more than double your tips after you play.

Day 22
Lady in pink starts saying a new line. Tips will go down a little.

Day 25
The dog that looks like Chappy turns into a guy, the dancer will say a new line, Ine issues a challenge, and tips will be good.

Day 34
Lady in pink says she needs to leave. Dancer realizes that the instrument you've been playing is a Ukulele.

Day 35
The dog that looks like Chappy shows back up to replace the lady in pink. Dancer says she needs to leave. Guy in blue coat that had replaced the Chappy-look-a-like turns into a guy from the museum. An old lady in green shows up standing beside him. Ine says a new line. After this, everyone will repeat the same things for the next 16 days.

Day 51
Lady in pink comes back to replace the Dancer. Talk with Ine and he will increase your friendship by 3 points. The other two audience members will say new things. Talk with Johnny and he'll let you know you've played 50 times before, and he will reward you with the next license. He doesn't tell you this time, but your stats will increase again, Focus +5, Fame +2, and Arts +6.

After this, you're able to continue to play every day.
