Mini-Review
NDS - Platinum Sudoku

I picked up a used copy yesterday and it's nothing less than amazing.

20,000,483 total puzzles, hordes of unlockables, an in-cell writing system that works very well, points you use to pay for hints/cheats, fun mini-games, different sized grids (not just the 9x9), and a really neat Sudoku-type game called Kakuro (which may be more fun than Sudoku..). There are 315 of those puzzles. It's like crossword-picross-sudoku. It has tutorials for both games, and the advanced tactics lessons I've unlocked are fairly basic, but fundamentally great if you haven't figured them out yourself already.

The game-board interface has unlockable skins, music tracks, several default fonts, and there are 6 Challenges (mini-games) to unlock: Subtract, Pair Match, Shuffle, Choice Block, High Sum, and Mine Detector.

This is the Sudoku to get.
